Stanley F. Polk, Director
Farmers Insurance welcomes new leadership role in Minnesota, Stan Polk began in his capacity as Director of the Minneapolis AgencyPoint on February 1, 2011. Bringing a wealth of talent and experience to the AgencyPoint, Stan is ready to partner with every agent and employee within the AP to continue the outstanding success achieved in 2010.
Stan began his career as a Claims Representative in Dallas, Texas in 1991, spending 12 years in Claims and promoted through the organization in a variety of leadership positions, including Branch Claims Supervisor, Field Training Manager and Field Claims Manager. In 2003, Stan moved into state operations in Austin and held the position of Senior Marketing Specialist, promoting to Division Marketing Manager in Dallas, Texas where he worked closely with seven district managers and 300 agents to drive successful business results for Farmers in Texas. Stan moved to Home Office in 2008 working in the Agencies department and in 2010, Stan was promoted to Director of Field Operations for the Northern Zone, where he was responsible for providing support to the zone's State Executives, as well as managing the zone's top and bottom line results in all lines of business. Stan has experience with Business Development operations through special assignment over the last several months and is well prepared to lead this important business unit.
Corrinne Treanor, Department Assistant
After graduating from Mankato State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, Corrinne began her career as a substitute teacher in the Twin Cities metro area. She then moved on to gain knowledge and experience in the title industry and this led to managing a very successful Title and Escrow company. The skills and expertise she gained helped advance her career to start up and run two additional title companies.
Corrinne joined the Farmers family in the fall of 2010 at the Minneapolis Business Development Center as the Department Assistant. She has a passion for problem solving and looks forward to a long and rewarding career with Farmers Insurance.
Born and raised in the Lake Minnetonka area, Corrinne currently resides in Minnetonka, MN. In her spare time, Corrinne enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also has an intense interest in creating many different forms of art; including acrylic paintings, making jewelry and pottery.
Chris Hunter, AgencyPoint Manager
Chris was born and raised in southern Minnesota and graduated from Northwestern College in Roseville, MN with a BS degree in Education.
Chris began his career in the insurance business as an agent in Iowa eventually working his way into the district manager position within Farmers Insurance in Mankato, MN. As a district manager he achieved many awards including Toppers Club.
In his spare time Chris enjoys spending time with his family (wife Jeni and daughters Macie and Hallie), riding motorcycle and boating.
Robert Worden, Sales Manager
Robert was raised in Southern Nevada and graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a BS degree in Education – Social Sciences.
Robert began his career with Farmers in 1995 managing his mother Nell’s agency in Pahrump, Nevada which was opened 1977 and eventually taking the reins of the Worden Agency upon Nell’s retirement in 1998. In his career as an agent, Robert earned his Blue Vase, was a commercial Gold Card agent and achieved numerous Topper Clubs, Championships, and in 2004 achieved the exclusive President’s Council award for being one of the top agents in the company. Robert earned numerous district awards as a high achieving producer including district all-round producer, and quality agent of the year though out his successful agent career. Robert likes to say that he “grew up” with Farmers, given his family’s over 30 year history in the Farmers family.
In November 2010, Robert left Nevada and the agency force to join the Minneapolis AgencyPoint as a Sales Manager.
Prior to his career with Farmers, Robert was a successful high school educator and coach. He taught courses in U.S. History, U.S. Government, World History and Geography, Sociology, Economics, and Anthropology. Robert was a varsity basketball coach, varsity football coordinator, and has over 20 years of highly successful experience coaching athletes at all levels in basketball, football, baseball, and golf. Robert is an accomplished public speaker and is a certified sports public address announcer having announced several Nevada State Basketball Championships.
Robert lives in Lakeville, MN with his wife Michele, and two sons Anthony and Marc. In his free time, he enjoys time with his family, watching his sons play sports, bicycling, riding motorcycles, travel, and outdoor adventures.
Doug Wilkins, Sales Manager
Doug was born in Chicago IL, but has lived in Minnesota most of his life, he graduated in 1981 from Rochester, MN, John Marshall High School. He has been back in Plymouth, MN for the past 13 years. He was awarded a football scholarship to the University of South Dakota and was a starter and letter winner 1982-1984. He has lived in in 7 States and has moved his wife 7 times, he also did stint as a Sumo Wrestler in Japan, in the summer of 1982.
Doug brings 25+ years of Sales, Sales Training and Sales Management experience in the Pharmaceutical and Transportation industries. He brings a new and unique set of skills to our office. Doug has received many sales and sales management awards including the #1 Sales Manager in the country out of 125 in 2008 and the Regional Sales Manager award in 2009 for the #1 Sales Leader in the Region.
Doug lives in Plymouth with his wife Carolyn of 26 years, he has a son Bryson (13) and a daughter Brianna (11). He enjoys coaching football for his son, along with supporting his son in baseball and basketball. He supports his daughter in soccer, dance, gymnastics and basketball. They enjoy boating, golf and traveling as a family.
Jerry Dodge, Life Specialist
Jerry grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He graduated from the from the University of South Dakota with a BS degree in Business Administration.
Jerry started his career with Farmers in 1983 as part of the sales department in the Phoenix, AZ Regional Office. He held Life Rep and Division Manager positions until transferring to Las Vegas, NV in 1989 as a Division Manager for the state of Nevada.
In 1993, Jerry moved to the field side of the Farmers operations as an Assistant District Manager for a Las Vegas district of 45 agents.
Jerry relocated to the Minneapolis area in 2001 and continued in the position of Assistant District Manager/Life Trainer until he joined the Minneapolis AgencyPoint.
Jerry lives in Lakeville, where he is active in his church and Minnesota Teen Challenge. He also enjoys participating in and watching various sports.
George Krall, Commercial Wholesaler
George was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a BA in Business Administration.
George began his career with Farmers Insurance in 1981 in Houston, TX. From 1981 to 2003 George held positions in the claims and marketing departments. From 2003 to 2010 he was a commercial lines producer and new business commercial field underwriter with an independent agency and a regional insurance carrier. George rejoined Farmers in December 2010 taking the position as the commercial wholesaler at the Minneapolis AgencyPoint office.
George and his wife Cathy have two children, Martha and George. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, golfing and going to the theater.
Franco Salvador, Business Operations Manager
Franco Salvador has been with the Farmers family for the past four years. He began his Farmers career as an agent in Chicago, Illinois in 2005 and achieved awards such as career agent of the year in his district, Blue Vase and Crystal Blue Vase to name few.
In 2007, Franco relocated to Southern California to become part of the Farmers District Operations in the Long Beach, CA District Office. During his tenure, he became a specialist in both Property/Casualty and Life insurance. He also assisted both new and existing agents to improve their sales performance using The Farmers Way sales, marketing and retention system. While in California, Franco developed a system to recruit and train new agent candidates from emerging markets as well as recruited Agency Producers and Customer Service Representatives for the District Office.
In August, 2009 Franco relocated back to the Midwest to become Performance Manager for Business Development Center in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Franco is fluent in both English and Spanish and is ready assist you. He is dedicated to doing whatever it takes to assist our existing Farmers agents to grow their agencies into the future The Farmers Way.
Brian Alementi, Agency Trainer
Brian was born and raised in Northern Minnesota. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth where he received degrees in Criminology and Sociology.
Brian joined Farmers Insurance as a Personal Lines Growth Consultant in the State Executive Office in 2007 and is excited to be a part of the AgencyPoint team. Prior to joining Farmers, Brian worked in the insurance industry for a number of years including tenure as an Agent where he earned several awards.
Brian enjoys staying active with his wife Cheryl, daughter Ava, son Aiden and his extended family.
Chad Noah, Agency Trainer
Chad grew up in Belle Plaine, MN and currently resides in Minneapolis. He received his Associate of Arts from Waldorf College in Forest City, IA and his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
Prior to joining Farmers Insurance Group Chad was employed with a private Healthcare Staffing firm here in Minneapolis. Chad started his career as a recruiter in their Minnesota branch and enjoyed a brief assignment as a Sr. Recruiter in Austin, TX before he was promoted to Branch Manager of the Minnesota office. He brings to the table several years of experience in recruiting, managing, and developing talent.
In his free time, Chad enjoys staying active by participating in seasonal sporting activities, heading up north in the summer time to enjoy Minnesota’s lakes, and of course spending time with friends and family.
Meghan Tousley, Recruiting Manager
Meghan was born and raised in Arden Hills, Minnesota. She now resides in downtown Minneapolis. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St. Thomas, with a dual major in Marketing Management and Legal Studies in Business.
Meghan joined Farmers Insurance Group in 2009. Prior to joining Farmers, she spent a number of years recruiting in the legal industry. Meghan’s role as a Recruitment Specialist at the Business Development Center is dedicated to selecting top quality individuals to pursue our agency ownership program.
Meghan enjoys reading, spending time with her family and fiancé, playing with her dog Max, and attending Gopher hockey games.
Tami Monte, Recruiting Specialist
Tami was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She is a graduate of Arizona State University and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Tami joined the Farmers Family in 1982.
During her tenure, she has held numerous positions with Farmers, most recently as a Recruiting Specialist. Prior to that she was a Sr. Agency Trainer and Marketing Field Educator for Minnesota and Wisconsin and a Commercial Field Support Manager in Phoenix, Arizona. Tami brings with her more than 30 years of Farmers knowledge and experience to assist you in growing your business.
Outside of work, Tami enjoys spending time with her husband, Rick, and two sons, Alex and Zach.
Kelsey Koesters, Recruiting Specialist
Kelsey was born and raised in Shakopee, Minnesota. She attended University of Wisconsin- La Crosse and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
Kelsey joined the Farmers team in 2010 as a Customer Service Representative and was just recently promoted to Recruiting Specialist. Prior to working at Farmers, she worked as a Case Manager in the Social Services field, and although she enjoyed working in Social Services, she was interested in the opportunities Farmers offers to its employees. She is looking forward to learning and growing with the company.
In her free time, Kelsey enjoys reading, shopping, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
Devon Stauffer, Recruiting Specialist
Devon moved to Minnesota to attend the University of Minnesota where he graduated with a BA in Speech/Mass Communications. After working in accounting for Coca-Cola for four years he went into outside business sales for Staples. Devon just recently came to work for Farmers as a recruiting specialist and is looking forward to a long and rewarding career. Devon is a big outdoor enthusiast with a passion for mountain biking and snowboarding all over the United States. He loves traveling and spending time with my family. He is also a huge movie buff.
Matthew Weldon, Recruiting Specialist
Matthew grew up in Belle Plaine MN and went on to graduate from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a BS degree and was also a member of the NCAA collegiate football team where he walked on and earned a scholarship.
Prior to joining the Farmers Insurance Group team Matthew has almost 8 years of recruiting experience in a number of different industries including higher education, IT, financial services, light industrial, and manufacturing.
Outside of work Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife Desiree and their dog Jet. He also enjoys playing softball, watching movies, exercising, and spending time with friends and family members.
Nathan Beranek, Recruiting Specialist
Nathan grew up in Cadott, WI and currently resides in Minneapolis. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
Prior to joining Farmers Insurance Group Nathan owned his own retail business for a number of years and most recently worked in Oregon and Minnesota as an Admissions Advisor in higher education.
Outside of work Nathan enjoys spending time with his fiancé and their two dogs. He also likes to mountain bike, snowboard, skateboard, play basketball and play music as much as his schedule allows. Nathan and his fiancé are also Minnesota Timberwolves season ticket holders and enjoy attending most of the home games.
Belinda Thammarak, Customer Service Representative
Belinda was born in a small town in North Carolina. She was raised in Minneapolis,
MN as a little girl and grew up mostly in Brooklyn Park, MN and still resides there.
She attended North Hennepin Community College and then transferred to St. Cloud
State University . She is currently working on getting her degree in Accounting.
Belinda joined Farmers in the fall of 2010 and is very excited to learn and grow
with the company. Prior to joining, she worked at Best Buy for four years in a few
positions including: customer service rep, home theater and multi-channel specialist.
She is glad to bring in her customer service experience here at Farmers.
In her free time, Belinda enjoys spending time with her
family and friends, going to concerts, outdoor activities, and cooking.
Stephanie Worrel, Customer Service Representative
Stephanie joined the Farmers team in 2009; as our Receptionist, she has since been promoted to a Customer Service Representative in our office. She looks forward to returning to school to further her education.
Stephanie has recently attended Kaplan University and is now licensed in Property, Casualty and Life. She looks forward to working hand in hand with our agents to help them grow. Before she came to Farmers she worked in the retail/service field and developed extensive skills in customer service and retention.
Stephanie grew up in Stillwater, MN and now resides in Burnsville, MN with her husband Brent. She enjoys spending time outdoors and with family.
Patrick Krebs, Customer Service Representative
Patrick was raised in Minnetonka, Minnesota. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication from the University of St. Thomas in 2010.
Patrick joined Farmers recently, in the spring of 2012 as Customer Service Representative. Prior to working at Farmers, Patrick worked as an Account Executive at a Minneapolis based collection agency.
Patrick enjoys motorcycling, snowboarding, reading, the outdoors, as well as spending time with friends and family.
John Mercer, Marketing Specialist
John is from Woodbury, Minnesota and graduated from Minnesota State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a minor in Business Administration. There, he held several leadership positions with Sigma Nu Fraternity including Candidate Marshal and Alumni Relations.
Prior to working for Farmers Insurance as a Marketing Specialist, he worked as an Executive Recruiter with an agency in New York City recruiting for top Fortune 100 companies. He started his recruiting career right out of college working for a small private company as a Healthcare Recruiter. He is currently working out of the Minneapolis AgencyPoint and is responsible for helping agency owners grow and market their business. He has developed a diverse background in marketing and a strong understanding of what it takes to make a successful business owner.
In his free time, John enjoys playing softball, tennis, and being out on the lake. He also loves to travel and spend time with his family.
