Selection Process
The first step in the process of becoming a Farmers agent is to complete a short
information questionnaire, which can be done by clicking the icon (Apply Online)
located in the upper-right corner of this page. You'll then be contacted by one
of our recruiting specialists to arrange for a personal interview.
If it's determined this is a good opportunity for both of Farmers and yourself,
we'll ask you to complete an aptitude and characteristics evaluation to assist us
in determining your abilities to become a successful Farmers agency. Together, we
will review the results to determine your desire to proceed.
The next step is attending an information session to review our entire processes
and procedures and answer any further questions you might have.
If you're selected to proceed, you'll then be scheduled to attend our licensing
classes. After you obtain your licenses, you will begin our reserve-agent-training
program to develop product and sales skills that will help demonstrate your abilities
to own a Farmers agency.
